‘Our Dinner Party’ est un projet artistique collaboratif et interg\u00e9n\u00e9rationnel initi\u00e9 par Ingrid Schreyers, visant \u00e0 donner une voix aux femmes \u00e0 travers le textile narratif<\/strong>.
Depuis son lancement en 2023, le projet a r\u00e9uni 60 femmes, du Sud au Nord du pays: Virton, L\u00e9glise, Ciney, Bruxelles et Anvers (participantes de 9 \u00e0 96 ans). Cette installation visualise des r\u00eaves et des r\u00e9cits de femmes sur 40 m\u00e8tres de tables!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

‘Our Dinner Party’ is ge\u00efnspireerd op het baanbrekende werk ‘The Dinner Party’ van de Amerikaanse kunstenares Judy Chicago.
Via verschillende ateliers werkten een 60-tal vrouwen van de Ardennen, over Brussel tot Antwerpen eraan mee. De jongste deelneemster is 9, de oudste 96. Alle vrouwen, professionele kunstenaars of amateur naaisters, brengen een persoonlijk verhaal in de vorm van een tafelloper. Al deze tafellopers zijn het decor voor ‘Our Dinner Party’: een installatie van 40 meter tafel vol verhalend textiel<\/strong> over identiteit, dromen, alledaagse anekdotes of intieme ervaringen. Dit project geeft een stem aan vrouwen met de meest uiteenlopende achtergrond. Textielkunst die dromen en verhalen visualiseert!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
