De voorbereidingen zijn volop aan de gang. Om de gekende reden werden de voorbije twee jaar overgeslagen. De &#8216;grand feu&#8217; is vanuit ecologische overwegingen al een tijdje omstreden maar de traditie houdt stand. Ondertussen is er de dreiging van een ander &#8216;grand feu&#8217;. Ondanks alle vooruitgang en menselijke &#8216;wijsheid&#8217; is er opnieuw oorlog in Europa. Bij verdere escalatie dreigt een &#8216;wereldbrand&#8217;.
