Ce signal lui \u00e9tait connu puisqu\u2019elle avait d\u00e9j\u00e0 eu cinq enfants. Elle s\u2019appr\u00eatait donc \u00e0 mettre au monde le num\u00e9ro six. Mais Jean-Baptiste, son mari, n\u2019\u00e9tait pas rassur\u00e9. C\u2019est que Marie-Hortense avait d\u00e9j\u00e0 44 ans et\u2026 Le num\u00e9ro six en r\u00e9alit\u00e9 paraissait bien \u00eatre \u00e9galement un num\u00e9ro sept! Tout cela n\u2019\u00e9tait pas sans risque\u2026 Tr\u00e8s vite, Jean-Baptiste fit une pri\u00e8re: \u00abSi tout se passe bien, je ferai b\u00e2tir une chapelle!\u00bb Jean et Madeleine vinrent au monde c&#8217;\u00e9taient des enfants sains et Marie-Hortense reprit ses forces rapidement. Jean-Baptiste tint promesse: deux ans plus tard, la petite chapelle fut construite.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>En janvier 2021<\/strong>, via diff\u00e9rents r\u00e9seaux, un appel fut lanc\u00e9 aux habitants des environs afin de les inviter \u00e0 concevoir et r\u00e9aliser leur carreau personnel dans le but d\u2019am\u00e9nager l\u2019int\u00e9rieur de la chapelle. L\u2019initiative est venue de <strong>l\u2019Asbl RURALternatif<\/strong>. C\u2019est que la petite chapelle se trouvait dans un \u00e9tat d\u00e9plorable.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Plus de cent personnes enthousiastes et le double de mains se sont mises au travail en r\u00e9alisant un ou plusieurs carreaux avec pour th\u00e8me: la vie rurale \u00e0 travers les saisons. Et c\u2019est ainsi que la petite chapelle de Semel prit un sens nouveau, une halte culturelle ouverte aux gens de tous horizons. Les carreaux nous racontent des centaines d&#8217;histoires singuli\u00e8res.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>La r\u00e9alisation de ce projet aurait \u00e9t\u00e9 impossible sans le d\u00e9vouement de Christophe Vangoethem, le pr\u00e9sident de RURALternatif et force motrice.
